Did prophet used to sleep on his prayer mat during qaylula ( afternoon nap) or is it just a saying?

Deeds in the first 10 days of dhul hijjah here do the days means night also or does it mean from morning to evening? What is the bestest deeds should be done one these days?(like in qadar we say prayer is the bestest things to do),so is there any bestest deeds like this which should be done in those 10days?
