Im aware that if I go to the mosque and sit down without praying tahiyatul masjid Im sinful. However, sometimes I reach the mosque and there is only 20 seconds to a minute left in the iqamah. What should I do in such a scenario??

ANSWER: If the time is so less, stay standing until the congregation starts.

I have lent someone some money and they are struggling to pay it back but still requesting loans from time to time. Are they eligible to receive these loans from my zakat so that they don’t have to pay it back, even if they have a job/earning?

ANSWER: Zakat can’t be given except to those who qualify for it such as poor and needy. If they qualify, you can give it to them in their hands and if they wish, they can pay you back your loans or they can keep the money.

One scholar of my country said that, “The sin of leaving one fard prayer intentionally is equivalent of eating 1000 ounces pork meat. ” Does he have any right to say such things, is it authentic? Will i be sinful if i quote his words to others?

ANSWER: This speaking about Allah’s religion without knowledge. This is baseless and he was probably a butcher before his current job!

Sheikh will i be sinful if i deliberately stand in second row if I had chance to stand but i send someone instead of me?

ANSWER: This is not sinful but only a senseless person would do something like that even after knowing the reward of praying in the first row behind the imam.

When should one stop moving finger and supplicating with it in tashahhud while one is praying behind imam and alone?

ANSWER: Until you begin to give salam to your right. You should continue to make duaa till the end of the prayer while moving your finger and looking at it.

Is sitting after congregation prayer and listening to a hadeeth an innovation?

ANSWER: No. No problem in this as this is the time when people are already in the masjid and the imam finds it easier to address the congregation and give dars.

I pray salah but I’m not sure if my wife prays that I know that i am getting married to. If I Pray and she doesn’t is the marriage valid, after marriage I intend to make her pray.

ANSWER: If she doesn’t pray at all, she is not Muslima and the marriage contract is void.

I was about to join the first line(saf) in the prayer and I was the last one to join but a brother said I shouldn’t join the first line and start the second line(saf) with him because he would be alone. Is this correct or should I have joined the first line?

ANSWER: If there is place left in the first row then you should fill that gap first. If there is no possibility of him squeezing himself in, he is right and you should go back with him.

My question is regarding making up for salah that has been missed while travelling. For example, if I missed salah dhuhr when travelling but did not make up for it. When I get back home, should I make up for only 2 rakahs or the full 4 rakahs?

ANSWER: It’s not permissible to skip prayers like this without a valid reason, its a major sin and its not permissible to make them up later.

Sheikh the hadith of not moving from your Musalla and the angels keeps asking for your forgiveness ( Sahih al-Bukhari 659) do you just simly need to sit where you prayed at OR constantly make dhikr/recite the Quran at your musalla so the angels keep asking for forgiveness on your behalf?

ANSWER: If you sit without doing anything, the angels will pray for you. If you make thikr, that would make the reward even greater.
