Is it okay to do sujood as sahw after tasleem in any case? Even in the cases that prescribe us to do sujood as sahw before tasleem (Like if someone forgets something obligatory in prayer)?

My question is that if you are with 1 person and you want to pray in jam’a do you pray side by side but following the other person or do you pray behind the person like you usually do in jam’a.

ANSWER: You both pray side by side, in the same row.

I pray in front of my bed in my bedroom. Is it permissible to lean my back against the bed during tashahudd or lean against pillar in mosque when i sit down or does this have an effect on the prayer

ANSWER: This is not permissible.

At the last Rakah of Witr prayer, I stand up from the Ruku and raise my hands to recite dua Qunoot (Allahummah dini fiman hadait..). After finishing reciting that particular dua, I make dua to Allah in my language as well. Am I allowed to do this, respected Sheikh?

Can you please confirm as somebody was attending some party she was in her makeup and her wudhu broke and she knew it but she offerred salah regardless. As her Salah is invalid so can you please tell what should she do, either repentance or qaza or both.

How to recite the sunnah prayers? Is it mandatory to read subhanaka allahummma wa bi hamdika watabarakasmuka wataala jadduk while offering the sunnah prayer or of it only limited to the fard prayers?

ANSWER: The inaugural dua is not mandatory for even fard prayers, it’s a recommended sunnah for fard as well as voluntary prayers.

Sheikh, my prayer abaya has wide sleeves. So whenever I pray my hand is totally covered and cannot be seen from front. But it can be seen from beneath when I do ruku because it has a wide opening. Do I have to wear an abaya which has elastic sleeves? I hope you got my question.

ANSWER: Yes, you must wear an Abaya that has long and tight sleeves near the wrists so that nothing is exposed during any movements of the prayer.

If i enter the masjid lets say during dhuhar azaan is called should pray 6 rakah 2+2 of dhuhar and 2 of while entering the masjid before setting or 4 rakah is enough.

ANSWER: You can do it in your sujood or tashahhud or even after finishing the night prayer as this is one of the times when dua is most likely to be accepted.

I had not given zakath from past 2 years as I wasn’t aware about it. But now when I came to know about it my husband refuses to pay saying in shafi mazhab no zakath for the gold we wear and he wants me to wait until june when he’ll return hometown and discuss with scholars. So kindly let me know is it sinful to wait until June or should I pay now without letting him know.
