Without desrespect what to do when ur parent are backbitting abt someone to you.

ANSWER: You must give them dawah about its prohibition with respect, wisdom, good manners and diplomacy. Even after this if they continue with their backbiting, you must leave that place immediately.

Is it permissible to backbiting of corrupted politicians, bad character celebrities, bad sports player,etc with friends and colleagues?

ANSWER: Why soil your tongue with their mentioning ? It is prohibited to backbite them except if you are warning others from them who are deceived by them. Otherwise, this is not permissible.

If you wronged many people but forgot some can you make dua for Allah to forgive everyone you have wronged. Is this sufficient for the people to pardon me on Qiyamah?

ANSWER: This is sufficient in Sha Allah as long as you are remorseful and have repented.

It said that talking bad deeds of someone did if it’s true it’s backbitting, and if false its slandering. What if talking about bad deed of someone to report them so the law officer can stop them and to make warn to people, I am sinned for that?ex. Be careful about him cause he got bad temper and that often use violence

If I share an incident that happened between me & my mother in law, what she told me and how I felt about it. Would that be backbiting? if I share about her beliefs and practices she follows that’s not mentioned in quran or hadees is that backbiting? And if I say someone I don’t like certain dish she prepares is that backbiting?

ANSWER: Generally speaking, this is backbiting. But, if you tell about her ill treatment to someone to seek their genuine advice then this is not backbiting. However, telling someone about her bad cooking and something similar comes under backbiting which is prohibited.

What happens when you backbite kufar do they get your good deeds too? But if they do are they not going to hell anyway what are they going to do with our deeds?

ANSWER: This is sinful, however they won’t get your good deeds but you will earn bad deeds.

I have a friend that has rude behavior towards people even though he has good intentions. Also whenever we hang out he often backbites. I tried hinting at his behavior but he’s a lot older than me and not the type that likes to be corrected. Now I try to avoid him and ignore his calls. Is this permissible? As this is the best solution I can think of.

ANSWER: You must advise him with good manners, knowledge, diplomacy, and wisdom. If he backbites, you must condemn him or leave his company until he speaks of something else. If he backbites people and is bad news, no problem in avoiding him.

I have backbiten many non mahrams and non muslims.Mostly I don’t remember their names or I am not sure if I have backbiten them in the past or not.So what should I do about this? Can I talk to non mahram to seek their forgiveness for backbiting? Alhamdulillah I have stopped backbiting from now on.

ANSWER: No need to talk to non mahrams and seek their forgiveness as this is prohibited. Just repent sincerely to Allah and never go back to that again.
