ANSWER: Not necessarily. It can be due to whispers of Satan or not making thikr and not reciting the morning and evening Athkar.

Will it be an innovation if we say ” Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim” instead of ” Bismillah ” while entering home? My cousin told me that As Rasullullah (pbuh) commanded us to say just Bismillah.. So anything must not added with Bismillah. What’s your Fatwa regarding this?

ANSWER: The sunnah is just to say bismillah. Some scholars said that such an addition is not an innovation but it is not according to the sunnah.

Is it allowed to say maulaya salliwasallim daiman Abadan .,… It is a nasheed in Arabic I guess,this is being sung in all masjids in our area. So I would like to know whether it is allowed for us to sing it or no??? It does mean about praising Allah for the arrival of prophet Muhammed (S.A.W) peace be upon him.

ANSWER: There’s nothing wrong in these words, however it’s an innovation to sing this in the masjids and it is not part of the prescribed salutation upon the Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam which we are rewarded for.

ANSWER: There’s no specific dua mentioned, just make general dua during times of acceptance, such as in salah in your sujood, in the last tashahud, before making salam, between Azaan and iqama, during the last third of the night, begging Allah until He opens the door and answers your dua.

In my mosque most of the people recite “Allah huma ajarni minan naar” 7 times after fajr and maghrib fard prayers. I read somewhere that by doing so will safe us from hell fire.is it permissible or not.

Sheikh, there is a hadith that says a particular dhikr is equal to approx 6 hours of dhikr that our prophet (saw) taught to his wife. It goes like ” subhaan Allahi……wa midada kalimatihi.” Is it authentic and how many times do have to say it?
