Sometimes when I am taking a break to eat, I’ll watch some Islamic videos online while I am eating. Is this a sign of disrespect or haram? I usually stop eating when I hear Quran being recited in Arabic, but resume eating when it is translated in English or any other time Quran is not being recited in Arabic.

Every month or so, my family calls the (Hafiz Quran) with his students who are also quran hafiz. They recite some surahs specifically surah yaseen or the whole Quran and then the Qari loudly makes dua for our home. And then we serve them food and give the food to relatives and neighbours too. Is it an innovation?
