I heard a scholar say that the reward of reading quran (i.e. 10 rewards for every letter) can be only be gained if one reads the meaning and implies it in his life …otherwise it will not give you any rewards no matter how much arabic text you read …he says its like walking to mosque but not praying ..you will get the reward for walking only yuu pray ..same goes for qu

Does by reading Surah ikhlas 10 times a house will be build in paradise for the reader.

ANSWER: If this is done in a halaqa, where people take turns in reciting while the others listen and learn, this is permissible. However, if everyone recites on their own to finish the Quran, this is not permissible as it’s an innovation.
