QUESTION: Can I read quran having an intention that my mum has taught me this quran so the more I read the more sawabh she will earn as this is sadiqa jariyah after her death? Also doing any good deed which she taught me gives her also equal reward? Plz tell

ANSWER: 1. No problem Even if you don’t intend, she will get the reward if she was the one who taught you to read the Quran or do good deeds.

QUESTION: I wanted to ask if one is planning on memorising the Quran and they learn one ayah daily , is it possible to recite just that ayah after Surah Fatihah while praying salah then going to ruku ?

ANSWER: Its presence there doesn’t make it Sunnah; it’s still a bid’ah to say it after reciting Qur’an, let alone writing it on the walls!

QUESTION: After reciting quran consistently every day, I see the blessings in my life.I feel that my family are more good towards me when I recite the quran everyday.Does this come under shirk or is this the blessings of Allah?I try to make my intention only for Allahs reward, but it motivates more to recite knowing they will be good to me.Is this shirk and showing off.
