For reading the Quran there is 1 good deed for each letter you read, does reciting the Quran from memory also have this reward?

ANSWER: Yes.

In a recent sisters’ halaqah, a question was raised about reciting the Qur’an from a smart devise when travelling to work and back and continuing the recitation in the Mushaf when at home, will this count as a khatam of the Qur’an or should one only recite in the Mushaf or smart devise to benefit from a khatam/completion of the Qur’an. Barak Allahu Feekum for your response.

ANSWER: No problem in reciting from the apps on a mobile phone or tablet and continuing it on a mus’haf as this is still Quran and a full khatm.

I have 3 Quran, and I only Read Quran on my phone, so I left them in the bookshelf , because I don’t Read them, I never touch them and they are dusty now, if I left it like that and not clean it, am I sinful? Or even I can get out of Islam by that?

ANSWER: If you are doing this out of disrespect to the Quran, this sinful. But if you do that due to forgetfulness or laziness, this is not sinful but inappropriate.

In Quran Allah says in surah Al Furqan Ayah 63 “…and when the foolish address them ˹improperly˺, they only respond with peace”. I know that it’s not permissible to say salam to kafirs.Who is Allah referring to in this Ayah?

ANSWER: This is not permissible as its disrespecting the Quran.

I live in the United States. The Qur’an is the best da’wah, so when I drive I play the Qur’an loud and open my window for everyone around me to hear. Is this good? I realized that it doesn’t matter how many miracles you show them if their heart is diseased. The Qur’an is what cures that.

ANSWER: This is not good as you are disturbing others and they don’t even know what they are hearing. This is disrespecting the Quran.

After finishing reading quran everytime can i make dua to allah like oh allah make me a hafiza,make the quran easy for me to understand or many other things not thinking that making dua after reading quran mandatory. Is it permissible sheikh?

As Ramadhan is coming, I wanted to ask, if we recite like, 1st juzz after fajr then 2nd in taraweeh then 3rd again in Qiyam so on so forth, is it counted as continuous recitation or we have to recite the Quran one time separately in taraweeh?

ANSWER: It is recommended to face the qibla while reciting the Quran but it is not mandatory.

Before starting menses I was reciting Quran on my mushaf, however when I started menses I carried on reciting from where I left off but on my smartphone. Intention is to complete the whole Quran in Arabic. Would this method of reciting some on my mushaf and some on my smartphone have the same reward as completing the whole mushaf?
