During my childhood, I dropped the Quran when I tried to keep it on higher ground. My parents said I had to give money as Kaffara for that. Is this true?

Is it permissible to read quran loudly when someone next to you is sleeping and feeling disturbed. Because it is the only time she rest and refresh her for activities from busy scheduled life.If sleep is disturbed she remain lethargic for the next time.What is the rulling on it?

I am aware of the Uthmani script. However, is Indo-Pak script of Quran permissible to use? the letters like ‘ﺪ’ are written in a bit more fancy manner in Indo-Pak script.. can you please comment on this
