When two people are praying, during the tashahhud the third person joins, should the person who is praying with imam get up from tashahhud and walk back to join the third person and sit again?

ANSWER: He must not move while in the sitting position but rather remain sitting until he stands for the following rakah, then he walks back.

For someone who recites the Fatihah silently behind the Imaam, even in loud Rakahs, is it okay for him to finish before the Imam finishes reciting the Fatihah, or should he recite with the same pace as the Imaam?

ANSWER: In silent rakah, there is no problem in finishing it before your imam as you don’t know where he is reciting. In loud rakah, you are not allowed to start reciting it until he finishes it.

Sometimes while I’m praying my mom or someone from home calls for me, so is it permissible to respond by saying a word from my praying louder for example Allahu akbar or a word from surah I’m reading in order the caller knows that I’m praying?

In prayer in the congregation should we say rabbana lakal hamd loudly? If it is the case should I do it even if no one in the masjid recites it loudly?

My father prays at home, and my mother prays next to him. Although they are not praying congregation prayer together rather it’s separate. They just stay side by side. Is this correct?

ANSWER: This is inappropriate due to the disturbance, you should have tranquility when praying. The prayer however would be valid.

I used to go to bed after 11:00 p.m. & sleep late maybe 12:30 or after it.But fajr prayer was 4 to 5 hours after my sleeping time.Sometimes I could wake in in time for fajr and sometimes I used to miss Fajr time.But I prayed sometimes even it was out of time for fajr prayer thinking I slept 4 or 5 hourse ago.Are my prayers valid?

ANSWER: You’re sinful for sleeping so late when you know you might not be able to get up for fajr on time!

My cousin texted me saying that she thinks her room is “haunted”, that things move around and such. Her and her family don’t pray, listen to music, etc. I have previously advised them many times with salah, Quran, and leaving the haram. However, they ignore. Yet they continuously say they have jinns and ask me for a solution. should I instruct them to do salah or ruqya?

ANSWER: You should tell them that jinn inhabits places of sins and where people do not pray as the angels abandons such places.

Is it okay to do sujood as sahw after tasleem in any case? Even in the cases that prescribe us to do sujood as sahw before tasleem (Like if someone forgets something obligatory in prayer)?
