Sheikh if a person misses the two rakah of witr and joins in the last one rakah where imam does dua, how/what is he supposed to pray after that one rakah. Like the imam prays 2+1 in witr and the person joins in the single rakah.

ANSWER: He doesn’t have to add anything as he prayed one single rakah with his imam and that was sufficient. If the imam prayed 3 rakah and he only caught one, he must stand up after salam of the imam and compete the remaining two.

A woman who doesn’t go to masjid, what is the ideal way to pray qiyam ul layl for her in Ramadan? Which one is the best? 1.5 hours after Isha and 1.5 hours at the last third of the night? Or 3 hours of prayer at the last third of the night and no taraweeh?

ANSWER: It is best to pray it in the last third of the night before fajr.

In our masjid there is 20 rakaat taraweeh + 3 raakat salatul witr in jamaat. If I attend the taraaweeh jamaat, do I have to stay with the jamaat untill it ends or may I leave anytime I feel like leaving?

ANSWER: You can leave anytime you want but you will lose the reward of praying the whole night if you leave without completing the witr with them.

My masjid prays taraweeh really fast and prays witr like maghrib. Is my prayer valid if my Imam recites Fatiah very fast and unclear? Do I need to pray in different masjid?

ANSWER: If you can find a sunnah masjid where the imam prays with tranquility then you should go there.

If anyone make a mistake in prayer that required prostrations of forgetfulness after Salam but he gives the prostrations of forgetfulness before salam – does it make his prayer invalid? & need to the repeat the prayer again?

ANSWER: If he didn’t know the ruling, the prayer is valid

When We get up form 2nd sujood of 1st or 3rd rakkah we say takbeer and then sit for a while as Jalsa Al-Istiraahah. Then we get up for 2nd or 4th rakkah, so while standing up for 2nd or 4th rakkah after Jalsa Al-Istiraahah we have to say takbeer again or not?

ANSWER: No. You say it only once while getting up from sujood.

In Ramadan I pray taraweeh in a masjid where they conclude the taraweeh with witr I also wake up 1 hour before fajr to pray tahajjud salah And I know there is no 2 witr in one night So when should I pray the witr? Can I pray witr after taraweeh and sleep;and then wake up for tahajjud and pray tahajjud Or should I just pray taraweeh in the masjid and leave the masjid when witr salah is going on a

ANSWER: Pray the witr with the imam in the masjid and pray tahajjud after getting up without repeating the witr.

” Everytime Surah Al-Masad (The Palm Fibre) is recited, the wrath of Allah increases. Allah is already very angry at Abu Lahab & he is being severely tormented in the grave. If someone recites it in the prayer, the wrath of Allah will further increase. So it’s better to skip reciting this Surah in Salaah, if he knows other Surah. ” Is this view by a local Sheikh correct?

ANSWER: This is totally baseless and fabricated!

In last Friday sheikh we travelled to one city in our country and in the hotel room they arranged jummah..I don’t know that it is a recorded jummah..they arranged jummah in a hall room and recorded a khutba video and there is no imam and 2 rakah fard was also prayed thorough recording..is my prayer valid and is the arrangement valid?

ANSWER: This is not permissible and the friday prayer is invalid.

I know for fact that women can not do Imamat of fard salah but they can lead other women in voluntary or taraweeh prayer while standing in line with others women. So should we pray this way or we should avoid as it’s not coming from any authentic source. Or is there any possibility that our prayers not being accepted if we pray this way?

ANSWER: You are not correct. There’s no problem in women leading other women in prayer, whether it’s fard or Taraweeh prayers.
