Is it permissible to close our eyes while doing sujood?

ANSWER: It wasn’t reported to us that the prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam used to close his eyes while in prostration. Therefore, one shouldn’t do that unless there is a legitimate reason for that.

Is it ok to read Quran from a mushaf during qiyam layl if WE didn’t memorize enough surats?

ANSWER: This is permissible.

We have 20 rakah and two imaams for taraweeh prayer. First 10 rakah prays one imaam and the other 10 rakah prays the other imaam. Somebody said if we leave the mosque after the first imaam finishes his 10 rakah it will be counted as if we prayed the whole night as per the known hadith. Is this true or must we stay til the end to get the reward?

ANSWER: You should stay until the second imam finishes with witr to get the reward as they both represent the imam of the masjid and not only one of them.

In my masjid the imam prays 20 rakat taraweeh . The sunnah is 8 with 3 witr . To get full night reward i have to pray with imam till the witr . Can i instead of praying 20 rakats , pray 8 rakats and wait for the imam to pray witr then join him ?

ANSWER: If you want to gain the full reward of praying the entire night then you must pray whatever number of rakahs your imam prays until he finishes with witr.

Sheikh in our country we recite a dowa “Subjana zil mulki wal malakuti….” after 4 rakha taraweeh (2+2). Somebody say it is not permissible, its a bidah.. What is the rulling about it? I watched your videos but didnt get the exect ansr.plz hlp

I try my best to stay focused in salah but can’t. Will my prayer be valid and accepted by Allah?

ANSWER: As long as you fulfill all the pillars and mandatory acts of salah, its valid.

The mosques In this country pray taraweeh 4 Rakat with 2 tashahud and one tasleem and recite loudly in all rakahs am I sinful if I pray with them, if so do I get the reward for sins being forgiven by praying 11rakat of night prayer at home only for 1 hour or so ?

ANSWER: You must not pray with them.

Sheikh, the hanafi mosque near me has a chart of Allah’s names and “ya allah” in Arabic written. On the left side there is “ya Muhammed” with a chart of his names. They celebrate mawlid and do bidah like shab e barat and dua after prayer and the imam looks like a normal imam, can I pray behind them?

ANSWER: You are praying behind a person and not behind a masjid! What counts is the the aqeedah of the imam. If you don’t know his aqeedah, the default is that he is muslim until proven otherwise.

I learnt that we go to the next post AFTER the Imam completes saying Allahu Akbar (or Sami’Allahu Liman Hamida). Please confirm. But most people in the Jamaat immediately bow or prostrate, etc. when the Imam STARTS saying Allahu Akbar. Should I go with the Jamaat, or wait till he pronounces completely?

ANSWER: If you can’t see him then you must move only after he completes saying the takbeer.

Sheikh, a woman decided not to pray nawafil for 1 day and then shqitaan comes her mind and says “very good you don’t bend your head infront of allah for nawafil this is great..”. what should she do if the thought comes continuously.should she pray nawafil continuously until the thoungt go away to prove she is not acting upon the kufr words of shaitan? can she ignore them and stop praying
