Is the takbeer of movement said when going to sujood or ruku to be said when praying behind an imam? As in is our prayer valid if we don’t say it or we must say it all the time wether behind an imam or not.

ANSWER: Yes, you must say it. Deliberately not saying it invalidates the prayer.

When the imam rises and says sami allahuliman hamidah, how should we follow? Is it permissible to stand up once he has completely stood up or should we wait till he completely says sami allahuliman hamidah even if that takes a little while more?

ANSWER: You should stand back up after the imam stands up. If you can’t see the imam, stand up after he finishes saying “samiAllah huliman hamidah.”

ANSWER: If they dodge you, avoid forcing it down their throats.

In jumu’ah in the first rakah the person next to me passed out & hit the mimbar face first, I broke my prayer to check on him & took him to the back & gave him water & quickly joined the Jama’ah again but the Imam was sitting in for tashahhud after salaam I stood up and prayed 2 raka’h did I do right? Or should I pray dhuhr? And did I missed the reward of jumu’ah?

ANSWER: You must repeat it again as thuhur as catching the imam in tashahud means that you had missed the Jumah prayer but Allah will reward you for it fully for attending that brother.

Sheikh if a person prays asr or another prayer in it’s time of necessity without a need or excuse, so for eg, half an hour or 20 mins before maghrib, I have heard this is not permissible but is this a major or minor sin or just makrooh?

ANSWER: It’s makrooh if done without a valid reason.

Sheikh, a lot of times I refrain from doing deeds because of fear of people, like I want to make dua in final tashahud and I take long time time people start looking at me and I stop and say Salam. Is it shirk?

ANSWER: This is not normal as one must not care what people think of him if he is doing what he is doing for the sake of Allah. This is why some scholars said: “Doing something to show off to people is riya’a. Leaving something mandatory for the fear of people talking is shirk!”

There is no dedicated imam in the mosque near my home. Random people become imam and they recite quran with wrong pronunciation. I often feel dissatisfied praying behind them. The mosque committee is not bothered by this and they say that they don’t have enough money to hire an imam. Also, temples nearby mosque play some songs which affects my concentration further. Am I obliged to go there?

ANSWER: If you have the option of going to another masjid that runs on sunnah, you must go there otherwise you should go near your house and not abandon praying in the masjid like this.

I got my purity in the form of dryness But when I do wudhu and check if there’s anything I see small dots of brown or yellow. Sometimes it’s a bit bigger and so I have to repeat my wudhu again. This repeats several times. What should I do as repeating wudhu like this several times causes many difficulties.

In salah when my sister sits for sajdah she sit in a way that her legs sits on the left side, i read somewhere that the legs should always be on the right. I informed her but she said, it hurts when she sits placing her legs on the right side. What is the ruling for this sheikh?
