Saying ayujubillah & Bismillah before starting salat : Is it permissible to recite أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم Before starting Salaah? Or is this an innovation?

Does only all the redness in the sky have to disappear for Isha time? In high latitude areas, looking outside the sky’s dark with stars visible but north of the sky isn’t (has lightness & appears light blue). Masjid has Isha time about 1 hour after Maghrib (earlier than Um al Qura) but sky appears as described & ISNA is later than UaQ & MWL is about 2 hours later – any advise on which to follow?

I study in a non muslim university . I was alloted a room with a non-muslim , she keeps the pictures of her gods in the room , i know its not permitted to pray in a room with pictures . So i have made a small partition with a curtain on my side . But the curtain does’nt reach the ceiling ,its midway. Will my prayer be accepted ? Will angles of mercy enter such space ?

Sheikh if the imam give adhaan both before beginning the 1st khutbah and before beginning the 2nd khutbah in Arabic, would my jummah be invalid if I don’t listen to first khutbah?…

ANSWER: The khutba that is part of the Friday prayers is the one that follows that Imam coming in, saying Assalamu alaikum …… and sitting down while the mo’athin is giving the athan after that. The khutba before that is just a reminder that is not part of Friday.

Sheikh i am revert Muslim but my parents don’t know about this. Sheikh the place where i pray fajr salah have some pictures of my dad grandparents at the place where i have to face qibla. I can’t remove this pictures coz my parents will ask me. So it permissible for me to pray fajr in this room??

Standing in salat is a pillar. What if a person for a fard salat , stand only 1 rakah with imam and sit for rest rakah. Is the prayer invalid?
