QUESTION: I stay in an area where majority of Muslims are of Ibadi sect. All mosques around my house have Ibadi imams. There is an Egyptian mosque but it’s far from where I stay. I take my family there on Friday’s only. It is difficult to pray 5 times there due to distance. Is it better for me to pray at home or go to nearby Ibadi mosque for 5 daily prayers?

ANSWER: Pray at home as its not permissible to pray behind an ibadi imam.

QUESTION: Sheykh, whats the ruling on dhikr after prayer? Do we have to sit there or can we stand up after prayer but should not talk before completing the dhikr? Does this affects the rewards for the dhikr?

ANSWER: The best is to say the dhikr right after praying the fard, sitting in the same spot. However, you can say it while standing or walking out.

QUESTION: Can someone decide to pray alone while the imam is leading the prayer if thy r in a hurry for females.i want to return home early since I didn’t eat (not fasting)but ate in morning only.cant pray at home no space

ANSWER: No problem since its not obligatory for women to pray in the masjid.

QUESTION: Sheikh lets say i join at the end of the jamaah and as soon as I join imam says salam, is it must upon me to say tashhahhdu and durood before getting up for my first rakah?

ANSWER: It’s not mandatory to pray the Sunnah, if you pray it after renewing your wudu, you are rewarded for it but if you don’t, you’re not sinful.
