QUESTION: Does swallowing drops of water from one’s face after wudu during salah invalidate the prayer. What if it is just in the mouth and not swallowing

ANSWER: If you intentionally swallow it, this invalidates your prayer.

QUESTION: We are reverts & stay in kaafir area. I pray obligatory salah in congregation with my mother & wife at home. Is it mandatory to give adhan & iqama before congregational prayer at home? Are our prayers valid if we don’t give (1) iqama & (2) adhan? Masjid is approximately 3.5kms away

ANSWER: It’s not mandatory to give the adhan if its already given in any masjid in the city. Reciting the iqamah is a highly recommended sunnah but it’s not mandatory and the prayer is valid even if one skips it intentionally.

QUESTION: Ya sheikh I have watched your video on missing a pillar behind an imam ..what if a person misses a pillar such as a sujood when praying behind an imam and he got up and stood to pray the second rakah..here now he realizes that he only did 1 sujood..should he soon go back and make the 2nd sujood and join the imam or continue and after finishing pray an extra rakah and then sujood as sahu?

ANSWER: He must follow the imam and after the salam, he must stand up to make up for the rakah that was invalidated by skipping that pillar.

QUESTION: Is it better to pray the whole night in tahajud prayer but because of tiredness miss fajr, or sleep early but pray fajr.

QUESTION: If I sneeze in washroom or in middle of prayer can I say Alhamdulillah?

ANSWER: You can say it in your mind without moving your lips when you are in the toilet.

QUESTION: I’ve not been praying properly for 8/9 years. But recently I started watching Islamic lectures and Alhamdulillah I’ve changed my mind and I became conscious of my life in the grave and hereafter, now I am trying to perform my salat on time. Sheikh now WHAT SHOULD I DO TO COVER UP FOR THE SALATS or HOW TO REPENT FOR MISSING THOSE SALATS FOR 8/9 YEARS INTENTIONALLY?? 😥

ANSWER: What is gone, is in the past and it can’t be recovered. You must sincerely repent to Allah while showing deep remorse and do a lot of voluntary worship, especially all the 12 emphatic sunnah prayers and night prayers, besides never missing any obligatory ibadah.

QUESTION: I am a converted muslim, in my house everyone are non-muslims, if they see that i worship allah(as muslim) they’ll kill me, if don’t pray at sometimes due to this reason, am i sinful or allah will forgive me at those times. Please help me.

ANSWER: You must pray on time to the best of your ability even if you have to do so in the toilet or sitting down or in a car.

QUESTION: Sometimes part of last rakat of eithee Fazar or Aaar prayer falls into farbidden time while I pray, should I perform/continue prayer at that time or wait and pray aftee the time passes. As prayer can not be done later aa normal norm, I am afraid if praying later will be valid or not. Please guide.

ANSWER: Your forbidden time begins after you complete your Fajr and Asr.

QUESTION: If I don’t answer call of adhan, but when it is ended, I recite the dua after adhan & salutation upon the prophet Will I still be rewarded for my dua after adhan?

ANSWER: You should answer the athan first and then say the dua to be eligible for the reward.

QUESTION: If I forget to recite any 2nd Surah on any rakat of my prayer, will my prayer be valid? Do I need to give Sijda Sujud for this mistake end of my prayer?

ANSWER: No. Reciting another surah after fateha is not mandatory. Even if you intentionally didn’t recite it, there is no problem and there’s no sujood as sahu for this.
