ANSWER: This is permissible.

QUESTION: I heard that it’s the sunnah to pray the 12 sunnah rakat at home. When i go out and it’s time for prayer i pray the fard and then when i get home, i pray the sunnah even if it’s time has passed. is this permissible?

ANSWER: If you know the time would pass, you should pray them in the masjid itself as the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam used to do that sometime.

QUESTION: If someone misses Salah by delaying it until there was around 15 or so mins and they usually catch the prayer but that prayer they couldn’t, so are they sinful?

ANSWER: Yes!

QUESTION: When praying alone, should I recite the iqamah for each different type of Salah? For example, let’s say I recite the iqamah, then I pray the Sunnah rakahs of Fajr. After this, should I recite the iqamah again and start my Fard rakahs of Fajr? Or should I just start my Fard rakahs with no iqamah?

ANSWER: Iqamah is only given before the 5 fard prayers and not the sunnah prayers.

QUESTION: Salaam Sheikh, for a traveller who shortens and combines his prayer, if he prays Thuhur then Asr right after must be change his position meaning to speak, move forward, left right etc? Or can he pray Thuhur conclude and pray Asr in the same position? same for Maghrib and Isha.

ANSWER: No need to change or speak as he is not praying sunnah prayer rather he is offering fard.

QUESTION: In these videos what do u mean by fence? is it the four walls of a masjid? or the border walls of the land where the masjid is situated? There’s a grave outside the four walls of my local masjid (to the south) but inside the border walls of the land. Can I pray there?

ANSWER: If the grave is being worshiped by some and the masjid was built over the ground belonging to the grave, you can’t pray there.

QUESTION: Is it permissible for the muezzin to repeat after the imam, for example, when the imam says “Allahu Akbar,” the muezzin also repeats it? Some people (oulala) in my locality say this is an innovation if the people behind the imam can hear and understand him. However, I also see that in Makkah, the muezzin repeats after the imam.

ANSWER: This was the practice before the loudspeakers so that the takbeer would reach even the last rows but now it’s not needed.

QUESTION: In my masjid, the congregation prays on a carpet, but the imam prays on a prayer mat placed over the carpet and then another prayer mat on top of that, which raises it slightly. Is this practice considered an innovation (bid’ah) in Islam?

QUESTION: Can i repeat fard prayer from the beginning by breaking it if i got confused in the middle of the prayer instead of doing sujood as sahw as its conditons confuses me so much.
