QUESTION: I pray witr prayer in isha everyday because sometimes I can’t wake up for tahajjud… And if I offer tahajjud will I have to pray witr again after tahajjud prayer?

ANSWER: No, you must not repeat witr as witr is prayed only once per night

QUESTION: Sheikh I know that you are supposed to follow the imam in salat but in my masjid in subcontinent the imam changes the position then says the moving takbir and everyone follows him and I sometimes get confused and bend my knees a little then wait am I sinful

ANSWER: If you can see him, move as soon as he reaches the position he is moving to whether he says the takbeer or not. But if you can’t see him, You should follow him after he finishes the takbeer.

QUESTION: During prayer after reciting surat Al-Faatiha do I have to say bismillah before reciting another surat?

QUESTION: I work 12-14 hour night shifts with no time for breaks or sitting, and I must arrive 15 minutes before Maghrib. This leaves me unable to pray Maghrib and Isha on time, and I return home at 8 AM. The job lasts for a month. Is this situation sinful, as I can’t change it? Please advise on what I should do, considering this is out of my control.

ANSWER: Don’t you go to the washroom or take coffee break etc?? You can definitely take out 5 to 7 minutes for your prayers and pray all of them on time!

QUESTION: Sheikh in my country there’s uncontrollable mosquitoes. While praying salah they bit us specially in legs and it’s very difficult to concentrate in prayers. Mostly they attack in areas where i cannot do anything but to shake my leg or scratch there frequently, but does that ruin my prayer?

ANSWER: Your whole life must revolve around salah and not the other way around. There’s no pleasing or obedience to anyone at the cost of displeasing and disobedience to Allah. If you know for certain that you will miss prayers and there is no place where you can pray, you must not go with her

QUESTION: I often miss my Zohr prayer due to my college being far from home and perform its qaza with Asr.I have a perception that missing prayers will ruin my matters and believe studying after Zohr without praying zohr will cause me to forget that lesson and to perform poorly in exams. Is it doesn’t aligns with Shari’ah and is just my perception? Please guide me.

ANSWER: The question is not clear. If you delay thuhur purposely without a legitimate reason, your thuhur is invalid and this would have negative impact on your life and your study without doubt.

QUESTION: What to if i came late for salah and missed one rakah and said salam with imam.and after a short time (like 1-5 minutes) i remember that i missed 1 rakah. What to do now?

ANSWER: If you immediately remember it or within the span of a minute or two, standup and offer what was missing and then offer 2 prostrations of forgetfulness after the salam and then offer another salam But if it is longer than this, repeat the prayer.
