Sheikh we visited a place which is 82 kms away from my home. So a wise man asked us to pray qasr if we have come in car. And asked not to pray qasr namaz if have come in train. So what is the correct ruling.

ANSWER: Reciting the salutations upon Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa sallam in the final tashahdud is mandatory.

If I have prayed my asr at home and then I go to the masjid, do I have to pray tahyatul masjid if I enter before Maghreb?

Sir on friday i will be 50km away from hometown and during the friday prayer timings i will be writting exams and every masjid’s friday prayer timings coincides with my exam timing.so shaikh what shoud i do?,do i have to pray zuhar and write exam?.

ANSWER: If there is no chance to delay the exam, you should try to make a Friday prayer after the exam at school with two or more muslim students. If this is not possible, you can pray it thuhur.

Can i pray behind an imam who is barelvi because they are involved in bidah and they believe that the Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W) is made from noor of Allah, he is hazir nazir, he is alive in his grave, he listens to our prayers etc.

ANSWER: It is not permissible to pray behind a person who has this aqeedah.

If I come to prayer and see that 2 rakat’s has been gone so do I take the 3rd rakat as my first rakat and read Sana and read Tashahud only in 4th rakat which will be my 2nd rakat and don’t read durood?

ANSWER: What will you be doing in the remaining time while the imam is reading the salutation upon the prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam? You must read the whole thing until he offers salam!

Sheikh is it mandatory for women to take ghusl on fridays even if they are not attending jumuah prayers in masjid and praying at home ?

ANSWER: The most authentic opinion is that the bath of Friday is not obligatory both for men and for women.

I know that Maghrib lasts until Ishat time starts. In the UK currently Maghrib is about 6pm and Ishat is about 7:20 according to mosque timetables. I’ve heard that Maghrib should be prayed very soon after it starts, someone even said 20 minutes. But if something makes it difficult for me to pray Maghrib straight away and I pray at 7 or 7:10 would that be ok?

ANSWER: The end time for praying maghrib is when the redness in the horizon is gone, which would approximately be 70 minutes from sunset, depending on the country. If you pray it within the prescribed time, your prayer is valid.

Is it essential to the payer to say sami3a Allahu liman hamida rabbana wa laka alhamd after ruku and rabbi ghfirle when sitting? Or are they sunna?
