When I was praying tahiyatul masjid before maghrib the imamm said it was forbidden to pray tahiyatul masjid( Imam said in aloud voice very Rudely ) But I do want to pray, as prayer gives me peace and also if it’s angered allah . I have watched your lecture and I know that praying before maghrib tahiyatul masjid is permissible. Should I miss this time tahiyatul masjid?

ANSWER: No. You must pray if you want to sit down in the masjid. Ignore what this imam says as he doesn’t know.

Is it true that a person must recite the tashahud silently and if he doesn’t, the prayer is invalid.

ANSWER: No. It’s sunnah to recite it silently while moving the lips and tongue, however if one recites it aloud, it’s going against the sunnah but it won’t invalidate the prayer.

If there is a innovation done by the people of the masjid do we go to the imam about this if not how do we forbid it among all the people

ANSWER: You should do whatever it takes to convey to the people proper Islamic knowledge if you are knowledgable and know how to diplomatically advise people.

Sheikh, what is the rulling of shaking shadah finger in the tasahud, Is it all time before tasleem or just tashahud, Is it sunnah to look at the finger while shaking?

ANSWER: It’s an established sunnah to raise & move your index finger and to look at it during the whole tashahhud until you begin to give salam to your right.

My question is in my neighbourhood there is hanafi masjid (no ahle hadees masjid) when i pray salah in hanafi masjid they do dua after every fard prayer they raise hands . I remain silent and doing my athkar silently at my prayer spot am i doing right or tell me what to do .

ANSWER: You should not be part of this innovation and go to the back of all the rows and sit there and make your adkhar or leave the masjid.

Shaykh what is tranquility in salat measured as? due to the fact that you said the prophet ﷺ prayed the sunnah of fajr very quickly, if this is true nobody dares to say the prophets prayer was invalid so how to distinguish calmness as a pillar?

ANSWER: It is true that the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam used to pray sunnah of fajr in a quick fashion but this didn’t go against it being perfect in tranquility.

I read somewhere women who put their hair in a high bun are cursed because they imitate a camel is this true? Can they still put there hair in a bun when in private for example when in the shower?

ANSWER: No problem in this when at home. What is prohibited is for women to go out wearing their hair in a high bun like the hump of a camel. This is not for imitating the camel but for luring people and seducing them.
