If i overslept and missed the salah in congregation in the masjid but the time for the prayer is still there, so then can i pray alone by myself (مفرداً) in house?

ANSWER: If you know that there will be another congregation, you should go and join it. But if you know that it is too late and no second or third congregation would be conducted there, you can pray home.

Sheikh, there is a Hadith stating that whoever recites Ayat al Kursi after every fard salah the only thing stopping him from entering Jannah is his own death. How does this work? Does reciting ayat al kursi remove all sins big and small ? And is this Hadith authentic?

ANSWER: This will happen after that person is cleansed in hellfire for his sins and eventually enter paradise with Allah’s mercy.

ANSWER: This is totally baseless.

We do jalsatul istiraha before 2nd & 4th rakah. But in case of Witr when we pray with one tasleem without sitting after 2nd rakah, can we do jalsatul istiraha before getting up for 3rd rakah?

If the imam says the tasleem regularly but without thinking I added “wa barakatuhu” afterwards. Is my prayer still valid? Since I added something additional I thought I needed to repeat the prayer

ANSWER: Adding “wa barakatuhu ” is an issue of dispute, but the most authentic opinion is not to add it. Your prayer however is valid.

In ruku if I say subhana rabbiyal AZEEM Instead of ATHEEM if I say it intentionally is Namaz vaild ? Will I be sinful

ANSWER: If you are able to say Atheem and you intentionally don’t, your prayer is invalid.

On Fridays, if I leave my home early and roam around for a few minutes then make my way to the masjid. Will I get a reward for praying and fasting for all these steps?

ANSWER: No, you’re not rewarded for roaming around as you are not going to the masjid.

I know it’s really bad but I keep missing some prayers & im trying to fix it for >a year, but keep falling back. Would it be shirk if I try the following as motivation?: ‘I hope i find someone to marry in 2-3 years, but unless I fix myself first a practicing person wont marry me’. If I use that as motivation to push myself to not skip(bc i do wanna marry), is that shirk?

ANSWER: This is not permissible. Your motivation and reason to maintain your prayers must be for the sake of Allah and to escape from the torment of the grave and hellfire!

If we’re traveling and we’re combing and shortening prayers, when should we do the it after prayer Aadhkar? Also, what about the evening Adhkaar? Can we do it after Dhuhr if we’re combing it with Asr?

ANSWER: You should do the adkhar of dhuhr after dhuhr and then stand up for Asr and do its dhikr after praying asr. You should say your morning and evening adkhar as normal.

Is it sufficient for the tongue to move while doing zhikr (so with lips closed) or should the mouth move as well (so lips open)
