QUESTION: Whats the ruling for women on fajr Sunnah prayer praying quickly? As our prophet pray fajr 2 rakkat sunnah quickly.

ANSWER: Everyone should pray it quickly.

QUESTION: If I intend to pray shaf’i 2 rak’ah and then 1 rak’ah witr after it can I change my mind during prayer and make it 3 rak’ah witr? E.g., instead of sitting for the second rak’ah I get up and make the prayer witr. And vice versa, i.e., intending to pray 3 but making it 2 + 1 instead?

QUESTION: Is this Dua to be said after tashahhud (in salah) before Salaam or to be said after Salaam? Allahumma inni a’üdhu bika min ‘adhābi jahannam, wa min ‘adhäbi-l-qabr, wa min fitnati-I-mahya wa-I-mamät, wa min sharri fitnati-I-mashi-d-dajjal.

QUESTION: Sheikh, My house is very close to the masjid.During Isha prayer the masjid fills up quickly and I am unable to get a place to pray.The loudspeakers are switched on during Isha prayer,so I can hear the Imam’s prayer clearly from my house.This takes place only in taraweeh.Having said that, can I pray in my house with the intention of praying in congregation

ANSWER: No, this is not permissible and the prayer would be invalid.

QUESTION: If I (woman) passed in front of someone while they are praying in a group by mistake, that I wanted to catch up with the prayer, would the one I crossed in front them repeat the prayer? Or what should I do or what should they do?

ANSWER: You invalidated their prayer if you crossed their sujood spot if they were praying alone. They must restart their prayer.

QUESTION: I wear prayer clothes for salah but find sometimes little spikes of hair may poke out at the back through the hijaab. Does this affect validity of salah as it is unintentional and I try my best to ensure I am fully covered before I start praying

ANSWER: No problem if its done unintentionally. Make sure you wear a thick scarf so that this doesn’t happen.

QUESTION: If we do not recite surahs (After Fatiha) according to the order in the Quran, does it invalidate our prayers? For example if we recite Surah At-Tin AFTER Surah An-naas in prayer

QUESTION: Some moulanas in pakistan claim that if someone have 20g Gold and other Some Silver (non Gold) and Some Money and one year passed on it. So there will be collectively Zakat on it. What if some one have 84g Gold and 84g (Silver) and some Money, it it necessary to give zakat on it? Please Guide. Thank you

ANSWER: If the cash would be sufficient enough to complete the threshold of both the gold and sliver, he must give zakat on them as well.

QUESTION: In my place when people pray in the masjid during Jumu’ah and taraweeh, they block a 80-100 meters long busy road and pray outside the masjid, which usually lasts for 45 minutes in Jumu’ah and 1 hours 45 minutes in taraweeh. Is this permissible?

ANSWER: If they are hindering people’s affairs by that and causing hardship to others, this is not permissible.

QUESTION: Can zakat be given as goods/ ration kits instead of cash? I heard from my friend that it is not permissible for us to make decisions on behalf of poor and needy on zakat cash and it should be given in cash form only. Is it true, Please advise.
