QUESTION: Is it permissible to combine Dhuhr and Asr in congregation like it is done in airports ?

ANSWER: If you are in your own city, this is not permissible unless there is a legitimate reason as you did not travel yet out of your city limits.

QUESTION: Our imam shab said that there is no nafil before Eid prayer so you just sit directly and when I about to pray tahitul masjid someone stopped me and said this same. So is it true and correct?

ANSWER: If you are praying eid out in the open, they are right. But if you are praying the eid prayer in a masjid, its mandatory to pray before sitting down.

QUESTION: I wear abaya outside, it’s long so it sometimes touches roads and washroom floor as well although I try my best to tuck it up to prevent touching it to the floor. On seeing, I find traces of dust on it and nothing else.Can I pray in such abaya while I’m outside or should I carry a different outer gown (which sometimes become difficult as I already carry a baby bag and handbag a with me)

ANSWER: No problem, as long as you don’t see any traces of najasa on it.

QUESTION: I pray fard of prayer while standing. But sometimes, for zuhr, Isha and maghrib sunnah, I pray them while sitting because I’m tired but not for a very legitimate reason like I’m unable to stand up etc. is it permissible and will it affect my prayers ?

ANSWER: You can pray the sunnah prayers sitting down even without a legitimate reason, however you would lose half the reward of your prayer

QUESTION: If someone does a thing in salah which doesn’t need to perform sajdah al sahw but the person does sajdah al sahw for that thing is the prayer valid?

ANSWER: No, its not valid because you added something that was not part of salah

QUESTION: Someone has dry lips. So if he peels the cracked residue from the lips, is it considered skin that is prohibited to remove for the person offering udhiyah?

QUESTION: While moving within a country like from Riyadh to Dammam, when we qasar namaz, can we combine the earlier prayers with the following like can we pray zuhr with Asar and maghrib with Isha or do we have to combine only in this order like combine Asar after we are finished with zuhr?

ANSWER: No problem in choosing either way as both are permissible

QUESTION: Is it sinful if me and my brother or uncle pray at the same level when we are not praying in congregation and are at home? If I am praying and he starts praying right next to me, should I move back slightly? Note that there is some distance between us where someone could stand. ‎

QUESTION: During Fajr i decided to pray sunna b4 fard knowing that time was less after completing my prayer i saw that sun had already risen. It has happened many time not in this way but like while i pray Fajr i look out and sun had risen are all these salah valid

ANSWER: What you have done is wrong! If there’s such less time for fajr to end, you must immediately pray fard and pray the first rakah quickly so that you would have prayed in the allocated time. Pray the sunnah after praying fard

QUESTION: Is it a must the udhiyyah and aqeeqah remains and bones be buried?
