QUESTION: Sheikh sahab kindly reply to my previous question. and what if someone has missed prayers for years and now prays 5 times daily, but how to compensate for the missed prayers?

ANSWER: It is not permissible to pray the prayers that you didn’t pray deliberately, without any reason. You must repent sincerely to Allah and never do such a major sin again and do a lot of voluntary good deeds and worship, especially night prayers to try and compensate for the missed prayers.

QUESTION: Regarding Jummah Prayer in my area where I work there is no mosque nearby / or I don’t know about it that there is one. Am I obligated to attend Jummah?

ANSWER: Yes, as long as there is even a single masjid that conducts Friday prayer in your city, you must attend it even if its far off since its only once a week.

QUESTION: Is it mandatory to say Subhana Rabbi al Adhim in ruku odd number of times or mustahab?or we can say any number of times doesn’t matter?

ANSWER: Saying it an odd number of times is the Sunnah but it is not mandatory.

QUESTION: Is it from the sunnah to go to mosque in one way and coming home using another for daily prayers?

QUESTION: Last time, I was praying with a friend of mine and I was leading çalah. When I was in the last rak’a in tashahud, her phone started ringing. Then she said salam in order to respond to her call. Is her çalah valid ?

ANSWER: It’s not mandatory but highly recommended in all your prayers.

QUESTION: Sheikh I use a pocket mat to pray in masjids because many times it has been happened with me when I prostate I smell very bad odour from that masjid mats of feet smell or socks or something. Also if I pray in second row people’s wet feet leave stamps on the mat. Is it permissible?

QUESTION: When starts the follower to raise when the imam says sami’Allahu liman hamidah in prayer?

ANSWER: The followers must start raising up when the imam has stood up or finished saying sami Allah huliman hamidah.

QUESTION: Can i pray full prayer while travelling without shortening it because some scholar say that it is mandatory to shorten prayer while travellng.

ANSWER: You should shorten the prayers while traveling, you must not pray in full unless if you’re praying behind the local imam. If you pray it full, the prayer is valid. It is best not to combine though it is permissible.
