QUESTION: The spot of praying should be pure is a condition for the validity of prayer. My question is what is the extent that we should keep pure when we pray?From Our feet to the prostration spot or something else?

ANSWER: From the feet to the prostration spot. The prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam said that the earth was made for him a place of purity and prayer. Therefore, the default is that all grounds are pure until proven otherwise.

QUESTION: In a 3 rakat/4 rakat salat, if I join in the the second rakat, do I do Rafayel hidayen in the Imam’s 3rd rakat or my 3rd rakat.

QUESTION: Is it okay if i keep track of the sunnah prayers i pray in a notebook so that i can see my results and in which ones i need to focus more? I have set a goal to myself to pray the second sunnah of Dhuhr for 21 days so that i make it a habit, and i am keeping track of it every single day? Is it okay if i do so? Or should i stop doing it? Thank you.

QUESTION: People usually say la illaha illah muhammadur rasuloollah after the muathin finished iqama as well as athan so is that authentic.

QUESTION: If I miss a rakat because of not finishing the fatiha during congregation I know I should make it up after the congregation is over, but can I do my dhirk and recite Ayat tul Kursi before I make up the missed rakat?

QUESTION: The 2 rakat sunnah of Fajr prayer, they’re more dear to Allah than 40000 years of worship by Hazrat Jibraeel (A.S). Is this Hadith authentic Shaikh?

ANSWER: No. The authentic Hadith is they are better than the whole world and all it contains.

QUESTION: I have missed lot of prayers from last couple of days and still counting due to accident which completely broke my leg and hand. I still haven’t recovered fully and currently I am not able to pray salah. Now please tell me how should I pray the missed salahs after I will recover from this accident.

ANSWER: There is no excuse for not praying, a person on his deathbed is also obliged to pray!

Sheikh, I see some practicing muslims sliding through other muslims to get to the 1st row of the congregation. As if they are in a race and just want to overtake at any cost to reap the reward of standing in the first row. I cannot do that. I stand where I find a place. What is the ruling in this regard. Please advise.

ANSWER: No problem in reaching out for gaps in the front rows without harming people.

QUESTION: Sheikh I have ADHD and it is very hard for me to focus when I pray. Will Allah still accept my prayers?

QUESTION: Sheikh, for the sunnah salah of the fajr do we say the dua for ruku, for sujood and for sitting between the two sujood 1 time or 3 times , what is the sunnah number?

ANSWER: Saying it one time is mandatory, 3 times is sunnah and you can add more to it if you wish. This ruling is for ALL prayers, whether sunnah or fard.
