QUESTION: I am 24 y/o girl, single, an only child. Mother is alive and father passed away. I earn well Alhamdulillah. In that case, is it obligatory for me to do Qurbani (sacrifice) this coming Eid as I can afford it?

ANSWER: Yes. However, if your brother or mother is doing it and you live in the same house and eat from the same kitchen then that udhiyah is sufficient for the entire family.

QUESTION: I have estimated the zakat of my gold for whole year, i am a salaried person, i cannot pay whole amount yearly, instead i pay it on monthly basis as divided the whole amount over 12 months from my salary, Is it okay?

ANSWER: It’s not permissible to delay zakat like this at all! You can give next year’s zakat in advance on monthly basis if you want.

QUESTION: As you know that praying 2 rakat tah’yatul wudhu is recommended after ablution. What if we perform wudhu in the mosque? should we pray 2rakah tahiyatul wudhu and then 2 rakat tahiyatul masjid?I’m confused.

ANSWER: Praying tahiyatul wudu would suffice for tahiyatul masjid as well. This is like hitting two birds with one stone.

QUESTION: My wife doesn’t praying or rarely praying salah. Not keeping fast in Ramadan. She is not following the deen as we should have to follow as muslim.
