A few days before his death, he was told to accept that what he did was wrong and to repent, and he did so alhamdulillah. ANSWER: No problem if the husband gives his wife’s zakat out of love and compassion (when she authorises him). If he’s not going to pay it on your behalf, you must pay it immediately by selling some of the gold if you don’t have cash. Few days after eid won’t matter.
