QUESTION: can I pray behind someone whom i know that he drinks intoxicants

ANSWER: If he drinks intoxicants, you must not pray behind him as he is an open sinner. The prayer is valid as long as he is sober but one must not knowingly or willingly allow him to lead.

QUESTION: When I am praying silent prayer behind imam, I just only recite surah Fatiha and no surah afterwards. Is my prayer valid and am I sinful?

ANSWER: You are missing out on a lot of reward however, the prayer is valid and you are not sinful.

QUESTION: Washed + scrubbed my face to remove makeup, prayed..After praying as I have pimple, I saw some make up on the dried skin of my pimple.I know in makeup scenarios one need to repeat prayer ..but I was confused as it was only on dried skin of pimple..I had time to repeat but As I was confused I didn’t..Is prayer valid, should I repeat?

ANSWER: If it was only on one pimple then this is insignificant and the prayer is valid and this is the opinion of Ibn Taimiyah.

QUESTION: Did my mother and I inadvertently commit a sin by missing the Asr and Maghrib prayers while accompanying my brother on a house-hunting trip, which was only feasible after Dhuhr prayer?

ANSWER: Of course! Abandoning prayer is a major sin. You could have prayed anywhere outside on time.

QUESTION: While rising from sujud I felt a movement and a sound but In that moment I was sure it came from my stomach..so I continued to pray..after sometime I thought it could be farting sound but I ignored the thought and prayed.. should I repeat my prayer?

ANSWER: Your prayer is valid as you must not break it for the sake of a doubt. You must have certainty in order to break it.

QUESTION: Should I do raf ul yadain when standing for third rakah of witr incase I pray it with one tashahhud?

ANSWER: If she prays it within the prescribed time, she is not sinful but she is playing with fire as there will coma a time when she would miss the prayer for one reason or the other and then she is sinful big time.

QUESTION: if someone omits a pillar in sujood e.g not placing the nose on the ground, can they fix the mistake by: 1.⁠ ⁠Adding an extra Sujood (totaling 3) and 2.⁠ ⁠Performing Sujood as-Sahw after finishing prayer?

QUESTION: If I catch imam in his second raka of a prayer with four raka. When will i be reciting the first tashahhud? Is it in the imams third raka which is my second raka. Or follow imam and he carries it for me?

ANSWER: You must follow the imam in everything he does until he offers the salam then you make up your last 4th rakah as usual.

QUESTION: I am a 42 year old married female. My father has already passed away. He was unable to do my aqeeqa at the time of my birth. My mother is alive and has a modest rental income. Can my mother do my aqeeqa with her income?Can my husband do my aqeeqa with his eaarning? Or can I do my aqeeqa by selling a part of my jewellery? Which one is the best allowed?
