Can a person spend his zakath money for ifthaar expenses at masjid.pl.advise.

ANSWER: No, this is not permissible. Zakat should be given in cash to poor and needy Muslims and they will do whatever they want with it.

Firstly thank u so much for replying my queries, Allah bless you.I heard that condition of paying zakat is the custody of amount 1 lunar year.like in last Ramadan I had 1lakh and in this ramzan few months back I collected some amount and now is 1.4 lakh ,so I will pay zakah on 1lakh as this amount I had for whole year.Am I right?

ANSWER: You pay the zakat over what a full lunar year finished which is the one lakh. However, it is best if you unite the date for all what you have whether it came a year ago or few months ago as keeping track with which came when is difficult if not impossible.

I should pay Zakaat from my annual savings or from my lifetime savings?

ANSWER: You pay it on all the savings you have had in your possession for over a lunar year providing it reaches the nisab and you have access to it.

My question is that is salatul tasbeeh really an obligatory prayer and has to be offered atleast once in a life time.

If the wife is giving Fidya but she lives in Pakistan and the husband lives in UK, which country currency do You pay fidya?

ANSWER: What is important is the feeding of the food and not the price. You can pay in any currency you like.

When’s the earliest in ramadan that zakatul fitr food can be given to the poor? is one’s zakatul fitr valid if the food is given to the poor before the 27th of ramadan? i think the latest it can be given is right before the actual eid prayer

ANSWER: It is not valid if given before the 27th. It can be given 1 or 2 days before Eid prayer.

In a congregation after recitation of Surah Fatiha i have seen many people say ameen really loud, I would like to know how should someone say ameen as per the sunnah.

ANSWER: This is Sunnah. One should raise his voice so that he can hear himself and not to make those in the other room hear as well.

In salah, between two prostration, should we say “rabigfirli rabigfili” OR “rabigfirli war hamni”?

Sheikh in India mostly in West bengal where I live men normaly wear lungi without undergarments n they pray their salah on that is their prayer r valid on it without undergarments or not.

ANSWER: As long as the awra is not exposed then the prayer is valid.

My aunty and her husband who are poor want help financially to make them a house. The problem is because these things take time to sort out such as purchasing land and papers work, I want to know although my zakah is due 17th of Ramadan, can I give them my zakah now but they hold on to my money until everything gets sort which may take several months, will that be ok?

ANSWER: Giving zakah money for this purpose is not permissible. Buying or building a house is not something poor and needy people do! You should give your zakah money on time to the poor and needy Muslims in cash in hand.
