QUESTION: Did prophet(PBUH) prohibited laughing when someone farts in front of us??

ANSWER: Yes, the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam was angered when companions laughed for someone passing wind. Therefore, it is prohibited to laugh.

QUESTION: I heard a story of Imam Ahmed hanbal and baker who was willing to meet him and he met himm too.And when Imam ahmed was kicked out from masjid,he the baker gave residence for that night and he came to know that his wish was fulfilled as he met him on that day.Is it true?

ANSWER: I personally don’t believe that such stories are true.

QUESTION: Dear sheikh, somebody asks You publicly a silly question and You embarrass them openly on Twitter. Then Muslims screenshot that post, share it with other brothers and laugh at it together. Are these people sinful who laugh at that person as he’s most likely a Muslim (even though he asked a very silly question)? Isn’t mocking Muslims haram? Could You please explain that?

ANSWER: There’s no sin in this as such a person is anonymous and is not known.

QUESTION: Based on my assumption /understanding of how a particular future situation might turn out or how someone might act in such or such situations, if I plan or prepare myself for that bad future situation, does this fall under “future predicting” since I am assuming this or that may happen in sha Allah?

Heard that it’s haram to greet with gesture(hand/finger).So, it is haram to wave the hand as a greeting? How about waving and smiling as a greeting? What about greeting someone while waving and saying hi/hello?What about the world leaders waving hands to public/media in meeting or seminars?

ANSWER: This is what Ibn Allah qayyem said as this was at his time part of the forms of greeting by the disbelievers. Nowadays, this is mainly common among the Muslims and it seems to be ok providing it is with mahrams or the same gender.
