I have seen mnay Muslims when they greet they say the salam and when they depart apart from the salam they say please make dua for me, is this asking for dua from the sunnah? is it correct to say so?

ANSWER: The sunnah is to give Salam when entering and when leaving a gathering. Asking others for duaa is not from the sunnah but it is permissible.

Shaykh, what is the islamic view on psychological disorders like autism spectrum disorder, bipolar, schizophrenia, and the like? Are the people with these disorders considered to be one of the people who are pardoned due to some sort of mental illness? My little brother has Autism, which causes him to Act irrationally at times. Does autism exist in islam? Or is it not accepted?

ANSWER: This depends on the situation, if it is severe or not, if they can learn or not. Autism is three levels if I am not mistaken. The last level are not accountable as they have the brains of a child

ANSWER: The hadith in which this is mentioned is weak(Daeef) hence it’s not true.

In the Quran Allah always reminds us to give shukr to him for the blessings we have. And by giving shukr he will increase our blessings. How do we become humble and give thanks to Allah. Any specific way that we may thank Him for our blessings, like dua etc?

ANSWER: You must follow the rules as a Muslim as Allah is the one who would judge you! I am a human being and can’t answer a lot of questions per day.

If my mother mocks the qamis (the thobe that the prophet sala Allahu alahi wa salam) weared whenever she sees me or she mocks the cap Do I bear any sin because I could have take out my clothes and avoid her mockery by wearing pants and a shirt for example. Do I share her sin for wearing this in front of her knowing that she may mock them?

Does the normal water become zamzam if we add little zamzam water in normal water?

ANSWER: You can add zam zam in normal water if the zam zam is less.

I have come across some people using short forms for islamic greetings on whatsapp or email. For example they type Asak for Assalamualaikum. Is this allowed?
