QUESTION: My family always keep telling me to give up sunnah Acts and spend more time in study. Their main goal is to earn duniya. Their these words really affectting my iman. I can’t focus on prayer… what to do??

ANSWER: Balance your time properly so that you can focus both on worship as well as your studies. Ignore what they say and be diplomatic and do not argue with them and just smile and nod your head and do what you usually do.

Recently someone said in alam-e-arwah my children did not testify to being Muslim so that is why such people who do not testify to Allah become disabled. Is it true? ANSWER: The prohibition is to buying it while it is on the tree and one doesn’t know whether it will be ripe or defected. If harvested and sold, this is permissible if one wants it that way.

QUESTION: I grew up getting humbler as life didnt turn out how i expected. i love simplicity having least needed. I don’t want/like dad’s property as it has cmplxity. I wished for a Islamic family with a girl i loved but it didn’t came true. Donno if i should keep asking since allah is merciful. Is it sin to wish for solitarity life so that i have nothing much or none to loose since hard times are coming?

ANSWER: The prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam had told us that the wolf attacks the stray sheep which wonders away from the flock. Satan does the same with us!
