If I have to make kuffara by feeding or clothing 10 poor muslims,should I give money equal to that of food or clothes to the poor muslims or I have to feed them??

Ya shaikh,my sister intented to recite 11X Quran in the name of Allah, if she get good proposal for marraige. Alhamdulillah, now she is married. And now she is asking me to help her by reciting the 2X quran. Is it okey for me to recite? Or it is bidah and will I be sinful?

ANSWER: First of all one should not take such a vow, now as she has taken it she has to fulfil it on her own, you should not help her.

sheikh here are some people who keep the intention that if this work of mine is done by ALLAH I will give this much amount of charity and give only if that thing happens otherwise not even if they are suggested to do so they simply say my work for which I have to give it was not accomplished. Is this permissible.

ANSWER: This is called a vow and it is mandatory to be fulfilled if what they asked for gets achieved. It is not recommended to make a vow to begin with.

My friend was fasting a fast which she had vowed(oath). She broke it by having intercourse. Is she sinful, wats d kaffara?

ANSWER: As an expiation for breaking an oath she should have fed 10 poor people or clothed them, if she was financially unable to do that, she should fast three days.

Sheikh I want to give kafaraat yameen .I live in Australia , can I feed 10 ppl in Pakistan .Is it sufficient to feed 10 people a nice meal whether I buy it with pakistani rupee or I need to spent in Australian dollars to buy food than I would be feeding more than 40 people ? Is there any condition about it in sharia .

ANSWER: You can feed in Pakistan with it’s currency, no problem.

Is it permissible for a person to make promise to Allah that if my particular wish (regarding marriage) is fulfilled, there after I will dedicate my whole life in the service of Islam?

This type of vow is disliked but if one has made it, he must fulfill it for his entire life.

Someone make intention to pay to certain darga, he made niya that if he achieve certain things he’ll donate to such darga, now he is convinced paying darga is not a good thing, but he wants to know is there any expiration? What he should do now ?

I would advise him to pay the same amount in the cause of Allah or to a masjid. He can feed or clothe ten poor people to expiate his oath.

My brother has a few psychological problems.can i promise allah that i will avoid certain food(not fasting) for allah to cure him?.one person suggested that i can do like this.is this beneficial? If yes, what food should i avoid and for how long?
