QUESTION: I’m a travel agent from Kashmir India. I give packages and make arrangements of accommodation and transportation for the clients . Most of the times, we provide them transportation service from airport to airport. However, in some rare cases, some clients ask to drop them at Katra where there they have some hindu temple. Is the income that I generate from this transportation halal?

ANSWER: If this (katra) is a city and have other tourist places then no problem. But if you are certain that they want to go there to worship their false gods and they tell you about it, this is not permissible.

QUESTION: I work for a grocery based delivery, where I purchase groceries and deliver for people, so i get many receipts at the end of the day. There is an app that gives rewards for uploading the receipts and later that reward can be converted into gift cards. Is the gift cards/rewards halal for me if I use those receipts?

QUESTION: I’m a designer, I do thumbnails for YouTube creators, but most of them use background music in their videos , my part is just to design the the thumbnail I don’t edit their videos, is this assisting in sin since thumbnail plays a key role in viewers clicking the video and they will watch the video with background music

QUESTION: I saw ur video but i have a doubt,if a person returns to work around 5 minutes late regularly after LUNCH BREAK but eventually he does his work properly, so will this too fall in the category of working less than what he’s supposed to and should he return the money of these 5 min to the company OR is this fine and negligible?

QUESTION: If I have accepted a job offer from a new company and signed the offer letter digitally, including salary and policies, and I am serving a 45-day notice period with my current employer, would it be sinful to apply for other jobs or accept a better offer during this period? ANSWER: No problem in this at all. Even after working for them, there is a grace period of 3 to 6 months that they can terminate your employment without any strings attached and the same goes for you.

QUESTION: Building design codes of every country specify certain earthquake loads that have to be considered while designing a structure like building or a bridge. But here in some organisations these guidelines are not followed to make structures economical and to attract more clients. What is islamic ruling on this and what about employees working in this organisation?
