ANSWER: If this is a financial institution that is based on riba and giving consultancies to firms dealing in riba, working in such a firm is totally prohibited.

Is it wrong to work in a job where you make medical appointments for patients? Because what if you are arranging an appointment and it’s a female patient seeing a male doctor and you’re arranging that appointment as part of your job, you’re enabling a bad thing. Is it wrong to have this as a job?

Sheikh i do sell dreses online & do not post modle picture & post my collection in dummy, is it permisible or not?Bcause the dammy sturcture is same as womn eg:raised chest area etc. Plz clarify sheikh im upset will i b sinfull for this or it seems something unethical?

ANSWER: As long as the head is removed and the remaining doesn’t provoke lusts and desires by looking at it because the clothes displayed are decent, this is permissible in Sha Allah.

My husband was an investment banker in an European bank I felt tat working in bank s nt good so after 1 year he shifted to the It side of the same bank…. He is managing application s over there is it permissable to work back office for a bank…

ANSWER: It is absolutely prohibited to work in any department of the conventional riba based bank and the income is haram.

ANSWER: This is not permissible because it involves haram ads with music and women.

Sheikh I am a fresh graduate doctor and recently want to apply for a job in a government bank as a medical officer.My job doesn’t concern dealing with riba or being a witness to it in sha Allah.My duty would be to provide emergency service to the employees.Will my earning be halal or would Allah punish me?

ANSWER: It is not permissible at all to work in any department of a riba based bank as this is collaborating and assisting in evil and the income would be haram as well.

Im working in ice factory as sales man & sometimes shia customers come to buy ice for their mat’am to put in juice. Am i sinful for selling ice to them ? Im not owner of factory and working as salesman.

ANSWER: No problem in selling anyone halal products. It’s not your concern what they do with it afterwards.

Can I sell Public Speaking course? I’m afraid that it can be used by non-Muslim politicians to influence the masses. Please assume that this is the best course in this world which also deals with the issue of power and influence.

ANSWER: No problem in that. By your logic, it is prohibited to sell water because someone might make it into ice cubes and drink it with whiskey.

I argue with one of my senior university brother about halal/haram profit.but i failed.we study abroad.He’s own brother send money to him for buy some products from the manufacture.he buy products and take little amount of profit for himself(senior brother).(15% from his own brother profit).hi’s own brother don’t know.he says he waste time for going other cities and etc. Q:Is it haram or halal?

ANSWER: This is totally haram and betrayal of his trust. If his brother knew about this, he might never speak with him. If he requires a profit for his time and effort, he must ask for it before hand and if he agrees, so be it.

If I open a salon, and if I do eyebrow plucking, hair cutting (hair styles), manicure and pedicure, is it sinful? And I (as in the owner would not personally do it) but my workers will as per the demand of my clients, do I get equal amount of sin?
