QUESTION: Nowadays, supermarkets and retail stores (such as clothing stores) offer a service where customers earn points when they make purchases. After shopping a few times and accumulating enough points, these points can be redeemed for a discount on future purchases. Is this process similar to earning interest, and can using these points be considered haram?

ANSWER: This is permissible but you shouldn’t assist them in choosing what is beautiful for them and suites their faces. Let them do that by themselves.

QUESTION: When I buy meat and chicken from the butchers, and before I wash the meat, I notice that the meat still has blood everywhere. Is this meat blood impure, if it goes on my clothes will my clothes become impure?

ANSWER: The blood that remains in the animal after slaughtering is halal and is not najis. What’s forbidden is the blood that comes out when you slaughter the animal.

ANSWER: No problem! The hadeeth you are referring to is when buying it off trees. You don’t know after a month or so whether it will become ripe or pests would harm it etc.

QUESTION: For women, Please tell the limits of lowering gaze & matters related to it. For example, if a women is attracted by your appearance, can she still ask for fatwa via call & website as it is necessary or not? Generally, does lowering the gaze mean not listening to their voice or speaking to them even in cases of necessity?
