ANSWER: It is not mandatory to give those who ask us for the sake of Allah if they are not really needy and we have something to give. The majority of these beggars are professionals.

Shiekh, is it true that the sadaqa or zakat of a poor and rich who give same amount of money is difference in terms of reward that Allah will give? i read it in an article but the person who post it didn’t specify certain hadith please clarfiy it to me.

ANSWER: Giving charity to Muslims in order to learn what allows them to work and become earning professionals is accepted. Mixed schools for girls is not permissible and it should be avoided for boys as well if possible. Try to help those who follow the sunnah as a priority.

There is a mosque close to my home where all kinds of bida’ti things happens (like: mawalid, dhikr that is not prescribed by rasulullah (S), and many more). But my mother told me that she made the intention to give 5000 taka to that masjid. Is it permissible to give sadakah to a mosque where people are praying but doing things that are far away from Islam??

I am working as a trainee doctor and i used to give some sadqah in my every salory,this month i am giving zakah,so is it ok that i skip the sadqah amount and give only zakah?

It’s upto you as giving general sadaqa is voluntary, unless you vowed to Allah that you would give every month.

If I give a poor person a cow or goat as a sadaka with the intention that they will sacrifice tbe animal and eat the meat but if they dont sacrifice it and sell it instead, will my intention of sactificing the animal be granted? What is the best form of sadaka?

Once you give an animal as a sadaqa, it is not your duty whether they sacrifice it or sell it. It belongs to them now and they can do whatever they want with it and your reward is granted.

Can i give sadka money to my uncle(my father’s brother).he is earning but he is hand to mouth very low income and have 4 kids his wife is also remain ill..so i want to know what is ruling about sadka…can we give an earning person…plz reply in detail
