Is it allowed to give bank interest money to the Masjid for repair work? In my village not many persons pray but they spend money for tiles work.is it ok to give money for that work?

sheikh, I wanted to know which type of sadaqah is better. If I wanted to spend some money in the way of Allah, and have two options that I have decided. Either to buy some juices from that money and put it in the masjid so that people can drink them (including labours) or Put the money in a charity box in the masjid. Which one would be better and more rewarding?

ANSWER: The best would be that you give the money to poor and needy Muslims in your family and acquaintances. Digging a well for the people to drink and use from is one of the highest sadaqah. You can even put it in the masjid charity box.

Buying gifts for family relatives, is it counted as sadaqah. And will we be rewarded by Allah for this.

You should give your charity to known Muslims from your family or acquaintances, those needy people whom you know or send through authentic organizations to Syria, Burma etc where our brothers and sisters are actually suffering and need our financial aid.

ANSWER: It is not mandatory to give those who ask us for the sake of Allah if they are not really needy and we have something to give. The majority of these beggars are professionals.

Shiekh, is it true that the sadaqa or zakat of a poor and rich who give same amount of money is difference in terms of reward that Allah will give? i read it in an article but the person who post it didn’t specify certain hadith please clarfiy it to me.
