QUESTION: If someone has pictures with filters on (that blurs pimples etc away) should he delete it? Because I seen a tweet of yours where you stated that it is haram but I couldn’t understand how make up that covers pimples and beautifies the skin is permissible but a filter that does the same is haram.

ANSWER: Make up is a form of beautification that is temporary and permissible. Editing or photo shopping a photograph like this is changing the creation of Allah.

QUESTION: Is it permissible to do eyebrows lamination as Brow lamination is a chemical treatment process to the eyebrow hair, in which the intention is to take out any of the curl or kinks or texture and make the brows lie very flat and straight.

ANSWER: If this is temporary to cleanse the skin, it’s permissible, providing it’s medically safe but if it’s a treatment to whiten the skin permanently then it’s not permissible because it comes under changing the creation of Allah.

QUESTION: My question is can men wear mix colour shirts or tshirts which have orange colour in them. As orange colour is usually worn by buddhist monks, hindu priests, non believers etc. And if we wear such colours does it effect the validity of our prayers?

ANSWER: It is not permissible to uproot or remove the eyebrows or the beard. Other hair is fine to remove whether by shaving or waxing.
