QUESTION: If I apply ithmid kohl and then go and make wudu, does the ithmid under my eyes prevent water from reaching the skin?

ANSWER: No, this has no impact on your wudhu

QUESTION: I went fr outng wth my famly knowng tht thrs a mosq whr ladies prayr area available,but aftr reaching got to know Imam closed only the whole lades area bcz alot of toilet using issue.I hv done tyamum & pray outside the mosq.Would my Salah accepted or I should w8 till fathr came out of mosq & he’ll open the car so I get my drinkng watr bottle then pray wth wudu bcz it was Maghrb pryr(time issue)

ANSWER: What you had done is not permissible as water was available and you must have waited for your dad to come and made wudu before praying. Repeat that prayer now as it was invalid!

QUESTION: I make wudu in my washroom, so when am I supposed to say the “dua after wudu”: after completing my wudu in the washroom or after getting out saying “غفرانك” and then the dua for wudu?

QUESTION: If Maghrb azan is called & I were in a place where I hv no water so what should I do ? Should I do tyammum or I hv to buy water bottle from a shop or ask from someone or w8 till I get water if thr is enough time ?

ANSWER: Tayammum is not permissible in the presence of water therefore, if you have the means to buy a water bottle to make wudu, you must do so

QUESTION: I have many pimples embedded on face. I even have blackheads and whiteheads embedded on my nose skin and chin. Must I scratch/peel them all off for wudu and gusl? What about the clot which gets formed in healing process when u peel off a deep pimple? Should i scratch that blood clot?

ANSWER: Of course not!! Washing the face normally does the job for wudu! You don’t need to scratch anything!! Scratching the pimples and blackheads like this will ruin your face for good! Stop doing that!

QUESTION: Sheikh, I don’t use my hands to clean feet in wudu, I just put my feet under the tap as it’s faster. Would this invalidate my wudu, as I’m using more water?

ANSWER: This has no impact on your wudu, though you would be sinful if you wasted water

QUESTION: Sheikh, when I make wudu at home and then put on long socks, I later wipe over them for ease when I renew my wudu. But when I’m outside, I always see people washing their feet instead of wiping over their socks. Is there more reward for washing the feet when it’s easy to do so, or is wiping over the socks equally rewarding?

QUESTION: If I have makeup that’s not water proof and I want to perform wudu then would my wudu be valid?What if the makeup doesn’t come off(Foundation,eye liner and lipstick) then is it valid?

ANSWER: If it forms a layer on your skin, the water is blocked from reaching your skin then the wudu is invalid. You must wash it off & then make wudu

ANSWER: If you wash it thoroughly, this is sufficient in Sha Allah unless there is still a layer that prevents water from reaching your skin. In this case, you must remove it or the wudhu is invalid.
