On which types of shoes are we allowed to wipe over it in wudu? All types or specific types of shoes?

ANSWER: Any type of shoe that covers your whole foot and ankle.

When I do wudhu and I wipe water at the back of my ears with my thumb; sometimes I notice dry skin or very small amount of /hair on my finger from wiping my ears, so I put a little bit of new water on my finger and wipe the ears again. I do this as I’m not sure if the dry skin or the hair prevents water from touching my ears. Is my wudhu valid?

ANSWER: You must not do this and it is wrong as wiping the head and ears must only be done once.

Is it is permissable to wash hands till elbow multiple times when I found my hand didn’t got wetfully or if I feel my hand is still dirty after washing 3 times can I wash my hand 4 or 5 multiple times, similarly like for other parts mouth, nose, also in wudu can I wash body parts less then 3 times if it’s already washed and clean few mins ago

If a woman touches her husband/father/brother, does she need to wudhu again?

ANSWER: No.

I performed wudu then when I had started praying . I felt my arms werent wet.now I had doubt whether i washed my arms and wiped my head. I had already started to pray, what should I do?

ANSWER: You must not pay attention to such doubts if they come after you have performed the act of worship (wudu in your case) and especially if this (doubts) is a reoccurring thing for you.

I am unmarried and since my teenage I have quite a lot of discharge and it increases due to dehydration. I will be going to Masjid al Haram for itikaf for a day, it might be troublesome to change my underwear or to renew wudhu very often. 1.Can I wear a pantyliner for few hours and pray? 2.Can I also perform tawaf in between itikaf or do I peform after itikaf is over?

ANSWER: No problem as the most authentic opinion is that the normal vaginal discharges are pure and do not effect the wudu. Being in the state of wudu is not mandatory to make tawaf or sa’ee.

Sheikh, You said in the video, camel’s meat nullifies wudu, If I eat sheep’s or goat’s meat, is my wudu nullified?

ANSWER: No. It’s only the camel’s meat that nullifies the wudu.

I have had a issue of ‘blocked ears’ for years. If i get water inside the ear it can be difficult to get out and can cause a little discomfort in the ear canal. As Muslims, when we make Wudu and Ghusal for that matter, does one have to put in the ear canal?

In ayah 5:6 In Qirat of Hafs it is known that the word “laamasa” with an alif on laam means touching with desire or intercourse which invalidates wudu. But in the Qira’ah of Hamza and Kisa’i it is recited as أولمستم without alif and this ayah gives preference to Imam Shafi’s ruling about the breaking of Wudhu but other Fuqahas example Imam Maliki and Ahmed bin Hanbal gave a different ruling. ANSWER: We understand the Quran through the sunnah! The Quran can’t contradict itself nor can the sunnah. The Prophet salla Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam used to kiss his wives and go to prayer without performing wudhu!
