Ablution (Wudhu)

I have been told my many people that when a women is performing her wudu she must cover her head. Otherise the wudu is invalid. Is this true?

ANSWER: This is not true.

Blood that comes after minor cuts in finger or else where in the body breaks wadu or not and Whenever I do toothbrush my gums bleeds alot so does it affect my wadu or fasting? I heard that blood that has consistency of flowing breaks wadu.

After wiping on my socks during wudu, can i take them off and wear another pair of socks if i dont want to wipe on my socks again when i make wudu for the next prayer? Please advise.

ANSWER: No problem. Your wudu will not be affected by taking the socks off but you won’t be able to wipe over the new pair.

The imams was conducting a class in the masjid and the topic was, wudhuu he said pouring only water on the feet is not enough,it is must to pass fingers in your feet fingers,is this real.

ANSWER: If the water has reached in between your toes, pouring water is sufficient but the sunnah is to insert your fingers between your toes to ensure that.

After performing wudu, do I recite Kalima Shahadah in the Washroom or after leaving washroom? (and Silently or whisperingly).

ANSWER: It’s best to recite it after exiting the toilet, however you can recite it in your heart, without moving your tongue or lips, inside the toilet.

Sometimes when making wudu the adhan is called or I know the adhan will be called so do I first reply then make wudu or we can make wudu and reply as magrib is like 4 min after adhan and it’s a hassle and is it sunnah to make any type of dua while making wudu or is it permissible to make dua?

ANSWER: No problem in replying to the athan while making wudu.

After wudu leaving the bathroom can you say dua Ghufranak first or after dua for wudu?

ANSWER: Either one is ok. However, ghufranak is more recommended first.

During salat in Jamat if my wdu breaks for braking wind or fart whatever we call and I am in the middle of the jamat and I can’t come out through the jamat since jamat is going on and I am much ahead of the rows, what I have to do? Can I continu my salat with the jamat? Please clearify it.

ANSWER: You must immediately stop prayer and leave. You can hold your nose to pretend that your nose is bleeding and leave, renew your wudhu and come back.

Made my ablution,after that,passed a very little bit wind,in which i had no control,so i again made my ablution,then started salah in congregation behind imam,and then again i passed wind,a very little bit,no pressure,i didn’t know that i m gonna pass wind so that i can control,so,i fullfill my salah in that situation,is my salah valid?if not,what to do now?it was 2 days before and i was not sick

ANSWER: If you are 100% certain that you had passed wind, you must leave prayer and perform wudhu again as your prayer was invalid. But if you are doubtful and you did not hear a sound or found a smell, then this is whispering of satan and you must not act upon it.

Sheikh.please is it authentic that Bilaal Bin Rabaa RA used to pray two unit nawaafil anytime He renewed his ablution? And are there prohibited times of the day for Bilaal’s type of nawaafil?

ANSWER: This is authentic and one can pray these two rakah of wudhu even at prohibited times as there is a legitimate reason for it.
