ANSWER:

If they believe that the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa Sallam controls the universe or they invoke the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam then this is shirk & you can’t pray behind such an imam!

QUESTION: There’s a masjid near my house in which everyday after fazr salah, the imams and some other send durood to our Prophet together by singing in Urdu and they say a sentence, ” Ya Nabi send us your blessings and forgive us for our shortcomings” , can I pray behind such imams?
