No problem in this as this is not a masjid

QUESTION: I went to the masjid just to pray alone as a muslimah. i sat down to put my things down, then i remembered i shouldn’t sit without praying tahiyyatul masjid. so i made wudu, prayed the 2 rakaat, then prayed my fard. is this correct, and am i sinful for sitting down at the beginning since i forgot?
