ANSWER:

No, this is not permissible. Pray first then drink. You can also drink while standing up like our prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam had done that. 

QUESTION: If I arrive to the masjid and I want to drink water and follow the sunnah by sitting down but I haven’t prayed 2 raka yet, can I sit, drink, then pray the 2 raka?
