ANSWER:

One should not mourn for one who has died for more than three days, except for a husband, four months and ten days.

Therefore, you can have the wedding after 3 days but if you fear the repercussions of what people would say, 2 to 3 weeks would seem to be sufficient in sha Allah. 

QUESTION: My grandpa passed away last week. I planned to get married next month, but dont know if it would be too soon. Is any period we should wait before doing something “happy” and “celebratory” after a loved ones death?
