Yes he must still lower his gaze!

The only time he can look at a woman is during the marriage interview conducted by the girl’s wali

QUESTION: I’m newly married and my wife is a good practicing Muslim but she doesn’t do hijab when going out however she put scarf on her head. She thinks hijab will make her look very odd. I’ve tried several times to convince her for hijab but in vain. I don’t want to be harsh on her but I silently pray Allah SWT to give her hidayah. Am i dayooth if i Don’t be strict on her?
