I watched your video where you clearly stated that, preceding tahajjud with a sleep is more rewarding than staying the night before it. I’m a night worker and I always do my tahajjud at break time. 1.Is it same ? 2.I don’t know much of the Quran so can I hold it read from it while standing 3.My break time ends about 10min to the adhzan of fajr can I pray the two sunnah and fajr and leave ?

ANSWER: If you are not able to sleep, this is regular night prayer and you are rewarded for that in Sha Allah. You can hold the Quran and read from it. You must not offer the sunnah of Fajr until the time of fajr enters.

People bring their bottles of water in the khatam al Quran of taraweeh prayer. The imam blows in each of these bottles. They believe they will get the blessings and healings from the Quran by drinking the water as the recital of the entire Quran is completed that day. Is this from the sunnah?

I had a question regarding qunoot. I saw some people say this is bidah or making dua after completing quran is bidah. That during the taraweeh there is not dua. Some people said qunoot was only done during time of disaster. So what is the authentic ruling. Or qunoot is only done at witr and not during taraweeh. So what is correct

ANSWER: Yes, but you should add to that standing for night prayer, reading Quran and making a lot of Dua and Dhikr as this is more beneficial and rewarding than listening to lectures.

we have several mosques in the naborhood but the one which follow Sunnah is one, but i am confused these last 10 days Qiam Al layel he stays on Qunut more than 15min. Is our prayer accepted as u said long Qunut is not part of Sunnah?

ANSWER: The prayers are valid. Long qunoot is not part of the sunnah, however it doesn’t affect the prayer.

Why witr is prayed in congregation in Ramadan and individually in other months?

ANSWER: If you are not praying in congregational prayer then this is permissible.

Shaykh can imam give khutbah on the night of laylatul qadr after taweeh prayer .in our area the imaams after taraweeh give sermon for about 45 mins and then we pray witr. Is it from the sunnah?
