One should offer salutation upon the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam, whether the shorten version or the longer ibrahamic version then say the Duaa.

When making short specific duaa like Allahumma inni asaluka ilman nafian warizqan tayyiban waamalan mutaqabbalan (after fajr prayer) or duaa when entering /exiting mosque must you follow the rule of first praising Allah,sending salaam to the prophet and conclude it with salaam to the prophet?I know that’s the guideline when making general duaas outside salaat.Does that apply short specific duaas?

I came to know that raising hands while praying after fard prayer is biddah. If its true then is there any specific occasion or time when we can raise our hands during duaa or its completely wrong?

When making general duaa any time outside of salah, you can raise your hands as between athan and Iqamah and at the last third of the night or when traveling.
