QUESTION: I wanted to ask about making du’a after praying the 2 rakaat behind Maqaam Ibrahim during Umrah. I was recently advised by a friend that this is not from the Sunnah as the Prophet ﷺ used to continue his Umrah after praying here and did not make du’a. I wanted to ask what is the validity of this and is it okay if I make du’a occasionally after these 2 rakaat

ANSWER: This is not from the sunnah. You can make all the duaa you want while doing tawaf or during sa’ee

QUESTION: In a hadith, Prophet Muhammad PBUH said, “Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication) He becomes shy to return them empty.”
